1. Information We Collect

We collect specific information necessary to provide you with our educational content, manage your account, and process payments securely:

• Email Address: Used to identify users for account creation, login authentication, and password resets.
• Phone Number: Collected exclusively for processing M-Pesa transactions via STK push during checkout.
• Transaction Data: M-Pesa transaction codes are retained for payment confirmation and product fulfillment.

2. How We Use & Process Data

M-Pesa payments are securely processed by Safaricom. Our platform only receives the payment confirmation status required to unlock and avail your purchased products. Once an STK push is completed, phone numbers and transaction codes are handled securely. Phone numbers are hashed and prepared for deletion or retention strictly as needed, since they are no longer used for any ongoing purpose.

We do not use your personal data for marketing purposes, nor do we share your information with any third parties unless explicitly required by law.

3. Account Deletion & Data Anonymization

You have the right to request account deletion at any time. You can easily delete your account directly using your profile portal.

If you initiate an account deletion, you will enter a 7-day grace period before your data is permanently anonymized and rendered unrecoverable. Data is anonymized rather than instantly purged for necessary auditing purposes (for example, converting an email address like [email protected] to an anonymized format such as [email protected]).
